All About Me

Photobucket

I live in Central Ohio, in a town that thinks it's Mayberry
(The Grass IS Always Greener here)
I'm a Gardener, Domestic Goddess, Mother, and Wife.
Former Pediatrician, Present Blogger, Future unknown.
I am addicted to knitting.
It is shameful to admit it, but pop culture gossip intrigues me.
I want Rachael Ashwell to design my home.
My garden is organic and perennial.
I bake a mean apple pie.
I also cross stitch, crochet, quilt, sketch, and play the piano, but enough about that.
My kids are my joy.
I love my husband more that all of the grains of sand in all of the oceans, beaches, and sandboxes in all the world.
A field of dandelions in full bloom is a glorious thing.
I've subscribed to Vogue since I was 16 but British Country Living is my favorite.
The Time Traveler's Wife transported me.
An American in Paris makes me feel squishy inside.
I wish I could sing like Chaka Khan.

I love your blog, so refreshing...I was also transported, love the movie TTW! Found your blog on Meet & Greet Monday =) And hey I'll take a piece of that apple pie anyday! I still can smell my grandma's apple pie cooling in the windowsill when I was a little girl, she would even make the criss cross strips on the top and of coursed always used fresh apples...yummmmmmmmmmm =)

Love you blog. I am an avid knitter, too. Wish we could knit together, but I live in Texas. Have you ever been to Stitches West? I go every year.

Hi, Erin, thanks for visiting my blog the other day. I'm looking forward to exploring yours further. I like to knit, too, but my skill level is purl or knit, whichever is the easy one. So I like to play with mixing colors and textures. :-)

You should posts pics of your quilting. I've always admired people who do that but I know damn well I don't have the patience. :)

I read that you're living in Ohio. I spent an exchange year, as a 16 year old, in Hamilton, near Cincinnati. ;)

Greetings from Germany!
