Should you win, the yarn you will receive is a dove grey 70% silk/15% cotton/15% cashmere blend. You will get a total of 810 yards (divided into two skeins). At 15 wpi, it is appropriate for any project that calls for a sport/DK weight yarn.
The yarn is dry clean only.

I would love that yarn...and I would probablly make a toddler sized pilot pixie hat for Mr. almost 1 year old's birthday, and maybe some matching pants, but I really think I'd make MYSELF some dashing fingerless mitts, long in the length, with some cables...eh? Yep, I think so. They'd be so soft!

That yarn is absolutely beautiful! You are very generous for hosting a yarn giveaway! I love to make yarn accessories and I think a knitted or crocheted flower broach is an elegant touch to a casual sweater or a scarf. I would create a set of delicate flower broaches to give to my bridesmaids (I am getting married in May). Since this yarn is dry clean only, these broaches would not stress the yarn with harsh usage.

I've really been wanting to make a shrug. One that could be used for those dress up occasions. I think this yarn would be perfect!! If there is enough left I would make another for my mom!
Oh my, that's pretty isn't it? Let me see.... I usually use fingering weight yarn (for socks, socks, and more socks), but there's this skirt I've been drooling over which calls for a DK weight -- and this would be PERFECT! It would drape beautifully and oh my what a lovely color. Oh yes, I can see it now....
I would probably make a couple of vintage inspired clutches. I will be moving away from a very close friend this summer and it would be wonderful to have matching clutches no matter how far away from one another we are.

First of all, CONGRATS! Your business is very interesting and inspiring. I love the concept, but have such a tough time buying yarn without seeing it "live" and touching it. This is such a great way to reuse what we already have here on our planet. Hmmm...I just might have to take a chance and try an online yarn purchase. This is most likely going to be made into some toasty fingerless gloves, from the Evenstar pattern on Ravelry, they would be just perfect. It's frequently very cold in my appartment and the church where I practice music.

But first I'd spend some time petting it and dreaming of all the items I could knit. I absolutely love the idea that this yarn is recycled! I would love to give it a second life as the Cedar Leaf Shawlette and the Gail(aka Nightsongs) shawl. Items that wouldn't require frequent cleaning, as it is dryclean only. There would be enough yardage for both.

What to knit after that... most likely I will design a skirt, Silk (at least mostly silk) skirts are so nice in Hawaii (where i live) because they breath so well and have such wonderful drape.
