August Break: Nothing Like a Sleeping Baby

Photobucket

Will sleeps with us. When he was around 2-1/2 years old, Tim started falling asleep in the bed with him. I would be up working all hours of the night and he would fall asleep with the baby. And a co-sleeper was born. And a year later he's still there. I will admit that I love waking up and seeing him there. And that's where I'm going to leave it. Hopefully when he's in high school he'll sleep in his own bed!

we have a six year old who still comes and climbs in bed with us late every night - I keep thinking, there WILL come a day that she will stop wanting to come into our room

I co-sleep with Caleb too. Can't help it. Being away from him all day at work, I love the closeness we have at night. Like you said, hopefully by high school he'll be in his own bed LOL :)

What a beautiful sight. I like to nap with the grandbabies. I'll wake before them and then I"ll just lie there and watch them sleep until they stir on their own. Enjoy it while you can.

Our two year old has been sleeping with us since 4 months old, and I miss him when he's not with us (he starts the night in his own bed). I also work out of the home all day, so those extra hours of closeness are really important to me. It's just too sweet!

I love a sleeping baby. Pie has a habit of reaching out to check that Husband and I are still there when she's sleeping with us...A little snort, a fat, rolly hand checking for mama, checking for dada and back to sleep. It kills me!

Such a sweet, sweet image. I love his shirt and the rich colors of it. And I love the way you cropped the image. Gorgeous!

You will eventually get your bed back and then your dog and cat will take the kids' spot and hog the bed. Just you wait!

Sweet pic. :-) I always loved it when one of our kids would sneak into our room and snuggle up next to me. :-)

One of our daughters would come into our room, to my side of the bed, and whisper to me, so that I wouldn't awaken - yet somehow I was supposed to hear her. :-) She was five years old at the time, I think. :-)

aww, so adorable. I co-slept with all three of my babies until they wanted to sleep in their own beds. It was magically and created wonderful warm bond.

i used to say to our son sam, one day your wife will roll over and say who is that? and you will have to say, oh, that's my mother, i like to sleep with her. seven, the year of sleepovers, was the end of his co-bedding. the other three, never really cared. meanwhile he is now the father of two little boys, both of whom like to sleep with mom and dad. ah, the nemesis.

Aw, how sweet...enjoy it! Soon he'll be big enough to be a major bed hog!

yeah they eventually make their way into their own rooms. My 1st 2 babes always slept with us. Those sweet cuddles are hard to resist.
