Short Migrainous Post

I've had a migraine for the last few days. So I haven't much wanted to write. I get them often; this one is s doozy.

Photobucket

I am working on a few things:

* A pattern for some gauntlet gloves with a Celtic motif

* A new book I bought on creativity which I will talk about a lot, most likely

* My lace, which I realize I haven't posted a picture of

* I also want to finally finish my Michael Kors sweater (that I think I've been working on for 2 years now).

* The yarn still needs unraveling and rewinding

* Hopefully I'll place some cute vintage stuff on the store's site in the next few days

* Oh, and taking lots of Excedrin migraine to keep this headache under control.

Hope all is going well for all of you and I'll write more tomorrow!

I'm sorry you get migraines, Erin. I used to get them and then discovered they were caused by red wine. If I avoid that I'm OK. Hope you're feeling better. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your book!

migraines can suck it. I've been suffering with migraines since I was a kid, so I totally feel your pain. I really hope it goes away soon! Do you know what causes them?

Do any prescription meds work for you? I find Relpax or Maxalt to wonders for me. Feel better soon!

Sorry you are having a migraine. I get them, too and they are awful. I take Excedrin migraine and have learned to pop two the MINUTE I feel it or the MINUTE my vision starts to blur. Sometimes, if you're fast enough, you can catch it before it goes for 3 days. I also use a little mentholatum below my nostrils for some aromatherapy and a VERY cold rag, lightly smeared with mentholatum, applied to the pain on your forehead. It's very soothing...

Also...drink LOTS of water. Many times headaches of all kinds are due to dehydration.

Sorry to read about your migraines. I get those, too, especially when I'm stressed. Looking forward to hearing about the book you're reading on creativity and seeing your lace.

This image is so perfect for a migraine that it's almost creepy.
