Yesterday we did a workshop on co-dependency which TOTALLY explained my issue from the last post. I feel so relieved to know how I developed my quirks. So I'm feeling much happier about that. And, about these things:
:: Living in the Midwest, where I can watch the leaves change color in the fall
:: Having two teenagers that can rake said leaves when all 13 of our trees decide to drop them.
:: Magazines. I just LOVE magazines
:: People who have enough moxie to wear horn-rimmed glasses
:: Paisley. In fact, if I were to ever get a tattoo, the permanent thing on my body, it would be a paisley design.
:: Will sitting next to me watching while I write my blog (many Hot Wheels are involved).
:: Peanut butter. I eat it by the spoonful sometimes from the jar.
:: Vintage crocheted oven pads.
:: Wild rabbits skittering across the yard.
:: Malted waffles. The flat kind like they make at Waffle House.
:: Pedicures. With garish red hail polish.
:: Champagne (so that you can feel giddy like Marilyn Monroe or as elegant as Audrey Hepburn).

Love your happy things!! These should make everyone happy! So simple they are as they make you smile from within.
Happy Weekend to you!
Great choices! I have heard that scents are a great way to help trigger happy thoughts. Not quite sure what a bunny smells like, but I love falling to sleep with a mist from Bath and Body called Lavender Vanilla ( Well Dang! I think that's what it is called. I'm too pooped right now to go upstairs to check! Isn't that sad?) Anywho.... just thought I would pass it along. Glad to read between the lines and find a bit of humor and smiles in your words.
Those bunnies are the cutest things ever!
Your post sounds very cheerful. Hope you feel cheerful too. And thanks for posting even while you're going through such a serious process.
Take care.
i love your list!!
happy weekend!
xo
Beautiful post!!
They will totally make me happy too! Those little rabbits are so cute.
Happy weekend Erin!
Eeeeeee ... those are the cutest bunnies I've ever seen! ^.^
Thanks for hopping by my blog. I'm following back.
Great list. I've been thinking about since I first read your blog last week. I am so glad you are working through everything.
I love magazines too, a lot. And paisley- oh my goodness. I am planning to get a paisley tattoo as well. I have been trying to draw it out but haven't got it quite right yet.
And I definitely went and grabbed the peanut butter and a spoon, and then came back to read the rest of your post :)
I didn't know you unwell; I'm so sorry Erin. Us Virgos have to stick together, I'm here if you need me! xo.
awww those tiny little rabbits!! beautiful pictures!!
Glad you had a good day!
I love a spoonful of peanut butter, too!
I think you've inspired me to head to the kitchen right now!
Keep focusing on the positive!
Wow your pictures make me happy!
Well, they say it's your birthday... (Que rocker holler-singing to you just now.)
Seriously, my friend. Happy, happy birthday. May your day be full of laughter. May your year be filled with adventure, great books, time with friends and family, and terrific meals. Happy birthday, sweet girl.
peanut butter, waffles and wild rabbits would be the three things i'd choose right now…
have a great weekend!
I love, love, love, love paisley. I still have my 1980's paisley Swatch even though it doesn't work!
Fall leaves are the BEST. I SOOOOO miss Boston, especially those cool Fall days where I used to run along the Charles down by the Harvard campus and I'd run through the colorful fallen leaves and hear them crunch under my shoes. SIGH.
Yes, things that make us happy even in down times are wonderful, aren't they.
Hugs,
Lois
So many good things in this post. I love a pedicure too - way to expensive here in Europe, but always top of my list when visiting the US. And champagne, well that makes me very happy too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog to see the little getaway in Scotland. Nice eh.
I like coming by your blog 'cause you've always got pretty things on here. :)
Oh my god, those bunnies are so cute. I want to have some just to put into all my pockets.
Thanks for the comment on my blog, by the way!
I love everything on this list :) I'm glad you are finding answers. Keep focusing on the positives. Praying for you!
