Today I am thankful for the ability to write in a public forum about whatever comes to mind. For free speech and the opportunity to share faith and happy times with those that choose to read my words. And I am grateful for those that do read, who make me feel that my words have worth and weight, and for letting me know that my experiences can help others get through their days.

I'm Grateful: Free Speech
I don't really know what to write about today. I've spent more time in bed with my case of strep throat than I ever did in the past. Then William, my poor Boo, got it and I had to doctor him while trying to recover myself. I got out of the house today, but now am dizzy with a bit of a headache to show for it. But I got out and am no longer buggy with cabin fever.

It is a wonderful thing indeed xox
I'm so glad to hear you are at least a little better. Yes, freedom is not free. We have to defend it, guard it, and protect it.
so glad you're feeling better! and yes, the freedom to speak and express ourselves is an amazing one, one i am incredibly thankful for :)
dang....that strep throat !
i hope you feel better soon....i really do !
and i'm grateful that i get to visit your words....
oh Erin...I'm sorry you still feel yucky. Get lots of rest!

Oh no! Strep throat. Yeah, it spreads. That is unfortunate. I am sending you good thoughts that will hopefully speed up the recovery!
Yes, I am thankful for the public-ness of blogging as well. I really love that we can write right when inspiration strikes and get immediate feedback. I suppose that is my favorite part!

Glad you're feeling mostly better. It takes a long time to get back to 100%. But somehow it seems to go fast at the same time!? I had a bug about 2 weeks ago. Doc was surprised it wasn't strep! I completely lost my voice...all of it. Oddly, my throat didn't hurt - looked and swelled like it should have hurt... and I had all the other symptoms. I went to the dr. 'cause I knew strep was going around. I'm better now, and my voice is almost back. People just think I sound stuffy now, and I love the little cackle every now and again.
Thank you Erin, for taking the time to write, in spite of illness. Hope you and the little one feel better soon.
glad to hear that you are feeling better! hope that you can recover soon to complete power-energy-healed-healthy-self.
d.
oh yes...i am also grateful for free speech.
hope you all are better soon.
What a great post. You never really think to be thankful for the things you wrote about but my goodness imagine not having the freedom to say what you'd like? Wow! Happy New Week to you, feel better gf :) xo
Free speech is such a great thing to be thankful for...and something I think we all take for granted at times. Thanks for the reminder!! =)
OH, man! Feel better soon. It hurts so badly. Sloane is down with strep throat, too. So, I'm home today and catching up. The first thing I did when I woke up was come to the computer to start visiting my friends. So. Here I am. Hello friend. Feel better soon. Thinking of you.
I so relate to this - having a virtual space that's all mine, where I can say as much or as little as I like about anything that come to mind and where lovely people drop by to say hello, is something I am so grateful for. I can't imagine being without it now.
I do hope you feel all better soon! :)
p.s. I've enjoyed catching up on your other lovely gratefulness posts too...
hope you are 100% better soon!
today i am grateful for your blog, your words.
*hugs*

Erin, I hope you are well soon. (At least by expressing oneself in written form, the throat doesn't hurt more.)
Thank you for speaking your truth!
Erin -
Very well said! I'm thankful as well for free speech. It does give us various opportunities and I enjoy reading those who are like-minded who share their faith, like you, as well!
I realize I'm a little late, but I hope all is well with you and yours! I pray that the strep throat phase is past. Have a great weekend! God bless!
