This month of gratitude has been filled with joy. I find that I catastrophize an awful lot, but when i am forced to concentrate on all of the things that I have to be grateful for, the catastrophizing stops. And I feel contentment and joy. I have to say that I am grateful to Lisa for coming up with the brilliant idea of a month of gratitude; it has affected me more than I ever imagined it would. To that end, I am still going to incorporate grateful things in my blog to keep the practice going. I would recommend this assignment to anyone. You just may not realize how much joy there is in your life until you do it.

I've enjoyed our gratitude days. It has been a joyful journey!
It never hurts to spend a moment remembering all we have to be thankful for.
I have found that so much of joy is just in noticing what is here with me. There are lots of signs of God's love and care, just waiting to be read with open eyes.
I need this practice, too.
I like this. I can not say truthfully that joy has been a big part of my every day here lately, but why should it not be? I have alot to be joyful about.
One of the most therapeutic and life enhancing practices is gratitude. Truly it changes our perspective and somehow we get more good stuff in our lives.
Yet it is so easy to say, "Thank You." It's been great reading your appreciation of life.
I definitely agree. I missed a lot of days, but it really helped me focus on all of my blessings. I think I'm going to keep writing occasional grateful posts also!
oh yes please keep on with the gratitude! you do it lovely.
Joy is contagious! My dd's middle name is Joy. Beautiful.
