I had a friend from India in HS and her parents house was the most jewled toned, badass place ever. And don't even get me started on their Sari's and Bindi's...too die for.
we went to india, and color is a great synonym for the country. varanasi, especially, was so full of color it was kind of blinding, almost. you might like this picture - but click the bigger size, when you get to it, so you can see the detail. it was really something. we saw the ceremony putting the ganges to sleep at night, and the morning puja from a rowboat in the middle of the ganges. it was really something. i think you would love it.
