They Make Me Happy:The Garden Dreaming Edition

The promise of:

Photobucket

Tiny sprouts turning into fragrant flowers
Fresh tomatoes - that don't taste like cardboard At All
That old rose myrrh smell wafting into the windows

Photobucket

Trips to the garden center, dreaming about fantastic Victory Gardens
Peonies heads to large that they fall over onto themselves
Vases full of daisies

Photobucket

Hens and chicks, my grandmother's favorite
Seeing my grandfather's irises grow tall and proud in my garden
Muscles sore from digging and tilling

Photobucket

Walks on trails smelling of honeysuckle
The heavenly experience of brushing up against catmint and lavender
Butterflies, hummingbirds, ladybugs, and caterpillars

I also really love the succulents. I am probably not going to be getting any gardening done this year since I will be traveling for work this summer- may have to just surround myself with beautiful pictures like you've posted. Love it!

Well, I certainly look forward to Spring, but must confess I leave gardening to my husband. He loves it.

Been gone for a while and glad to be back reading your uplifting posts.

Thanks, Erin, for dropping by and becoming a follower!
I really appreciate it.
I really need to get back to knitting.
And I love hens and chicks as well. However, our garden is still covered in snow thanks to yesterday's rain and snow.

Hello, thanks for stopping by FCS and becoming a follower. I am here to return the follow. Seeing your flower pictures make me want spring to come all that sooner! Luckily for us, it's gonna pour here (NH)tomorrow...the rain should melt a good portion of the snow we were bombarded with this winter...and you know what that means...soon spring flowers will be flourishing :-). Add that to springing ahead on the clocks next weekend...all is good!
