Dust of Snow

Photobucket

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

Robert Frost (1923)

***

Today I am grateful for central heat, a warm bed, a downy coat, and my cabled pink gloves, bought when I was so cold at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf (and memories of travel to faraway places)

Frost is my all time, hands down, favorite poet.

Wait...does that make me a total nerd? The fact that I have a favorite poet?
