The Open Road

Photobucket

Kendall, Will, and I hopped in the car today for a photography road trip. Kendall is a budding photographer, and I needed some more images for my photography assignment.

Have you ever just taken off? No real destination? And got incredibly lost in the process? That's what we did today. But it was fun, and in Ohio at least, you will eventually come upon a town where you can get pointed back in the right direction.

We saw beautiful farms, rolling vistas, huge Italianate mansions, incredible old brick farm houses, not to mention the four covered bridges, the spooky church on the hill, and the Piatt Castles.

The weather and hunger cut our trip short. It was really cold! And by the time we found West Liberty (and learned we were going the completely opposite direction that we needed to be going to get home) all of the greasy spoons were looking like five star resteraunts.

So that was my fun today. What did you do?
