He Loves His Cars

Here are some photos that I took this winter of Will playing with his cars. For some reason, I just love taking pictures of his little feet.

These photos happened when Will wouldn't stand still and the camera exposure was long. A happy accident!

William lives for his Hotwheels. We feel lucky that our child's favorite toy costs less than a dollar; consequently, I'll bet there are around 200 of them floating around here. I really do think he'd be totally happy if all he had were his cars. I have a future gearhead!

Those pics turned out great! When I was little, I was totally obsessed with Hot Wheels. I loved them just as much as I loved my Barbies - if not more! I remember my dad once drove over some I had been playing with in our driveway. I cried and cried and cried and he felt terrible. Had it been any other toy, pssh, I probably would not have cared!

I get them for Hubby every year in his Eater basket. He rarely got them as a boy. (I love to see the smile he gets when he sees I did it again).

I love those happy little photographic accidents!

My sons both love their little matchbox and hot wheels cars. We've accumulated several hundred over the past 5 years--birthdays, holidays, "I found a dollar!"-days.

Children are so adorable. This post reminds me of my 2 year old niece who takes pleasure in throwing a piece of tissue paper from the stairs and running down to get it. This amuses her for half an hour.

(Thanks for your informative comment at my blog!)

Great photos! And I think match box cars multiply too while we sleep!

What a happy accident! Those pictures of the ghostly feet are lovely. And he's already got it figured out: it's the simple things that bring joy. =)
