Can you guess my color? It's not yellow (though that's what I started with)?
At first, I wanted to tell a story about a toddler at play. Will and I went into the yard, then we went exploring .
The yard wasn't really doing it for me, though. So I loaded Will, Kendall, and myself up into the car and we took a road trip. And I shot rural Ohio.

And finally, my favorite photo
At first, I thought I was doomed with this assignment. I took photo after photo and couldn't seem to get anything right. MANY photos were deleted. Once I decided that a change of perspective was what I needed, it all came together. Harrah for road trips!

Wow, a visit to Ohio for me today. How wonderful it is to visit the world bij blog. Your boy is sooo cute and the red cow, love it. Nice.
Hope you are feeling a bit better #sick
Oh wow; the brick red is fantastic. Makes me miss Ohio.
Hope you're feeling better; there's a little something for you on my blog today!
being of the red-headed persuasion myself, i have a soft spot in my heart for red on boys, cows, barns, buildings and bridges -- i love that you've chosen a non-traditional red shade, and your choices really illustrate it beautifully! what a great road trip!
Truly wonderful. I loved going on your road trip...thanks for taking us along.
I give your Photography a A+++!
I love a good road trip and this one looks like a lovely one. That bridge is amazing! Great dusty reds. Very nice.

the red worked great for you! Thanks for your story!
Rural Ohio is beautiful! I like your last shot, too, but I'm also a sucker for those covered bridges. That is an awesome road trip you took...and very ambitious!
Bravo for road trips. I am going to have to remember to try that. I love the 2 photos that are close up with the crumbly paint and gauge of some sort. Beautiful. I also hope you are now feeling better. :-)

You ended up with such a gorgeous story. Persistence paid you well. I love the ones of your little boy. Excellent work.
you make rural ohio look like a place i would love. a change of perspective is so magically all we often need. yes. i love the bridge photos. the angles and lines, and colors. so fun.
Of course you picked red - your little man has the ginger gene in him. He is adorable!!! I love your road trip images. I need to do that too! thanks for the inspiration!
Lovely! The first shot, and the two diptychs around your yard - beautiful reds! And those Ohio red barns - love them! I still think red should be the appointed colour for barns everywhere...
