Sore

Photobucket

So, I am finding that I am not as young as I was when I repainted my entire house before moving into it.

Painting ceilings is difficult, sore work.

Painting walls ain't so bad, but my hands are quite sore and make me feel like an arthritic, elderly person.

But the colors are divine (light butter yellow, a sagey green, and a lighter green that I haven't used yet). Oh, and the baseboards will be "Cookie Crumb" off-white.

So I gotta go. Work to do. Ta ta, cheers, and all that!

Have a great day!

It's not old age. It's just doing stuff you aren't used to. That's what I always tell myself! I'll bet the result will be sooooo worth it!

Those colors sound lovely. Can we see pics when you're done?

I haven't painted walls in a long time, but it does sound painful. Especially the ceilings.

What tasty paint colors--butter yellow, sagey green, cookie crumb white. Maybe a nice warm bath will help soothe your painting aches. Take care and enjoy your new view.

Oh, I hope you feel better soon! I always have a couple of days at the end of winter/beginning of summer where I am in pain! Work through it- it'll get easier!

Pictures would be great!

I painted yesterday to wake to sore hands this morning :( I hope the rest of your painting goes well, it sounds like you have some pretty colors picked out. I look forward to seeing!
